Who can attend?

Anyone. Everyone. All are welcome.

What do I wear?

Members and visitors to our church on Sunday mornings wear everything from casual to business casual to a suit and tie or dress. Come just as you are.

Do I have to sing?

No, but we hope you will! Music is an important part of worship at First Baptist. You can participate, or choose to simply listen and enjoy.

Where should I park?

Parking is primarily on Main Street and in the court house parking lot directly across the street. If you have mobility challenges, there are dedicated handicapped spaces directly in front of the church. Also, you may drop off your party in the covered area under the Fellowship Hall, which is within just a few feet of an elevator.

Where do I go when I get there?

It depends on when you arrive. Our Sunday morning small groups begin meeting around 9:45. If you arrive around this time, please enter the church from Main Street, through the welcome center ramp (beside the sanctuary). You can follow the signs inside the welcome center to guide you to your class. Our Sunday morning worship begins at 10:55. If you arrive around this time, please enter the front of the Sanctuary building, and an Usher will be glad to assist you. Or, you are free to seat yourself. Our worship services tend to end around 12:00pm.

What about my children?

Children are precious at First Baptist and we have a super children’s ministry! Your children will be in the care of dedicated volunteers, many of whom have a background in public education. Your children will have fun, make new friends, and learn more about God’s love for them. For the very young ones, our nursery is staffed by caring workers to take care of them while you attend Bible Study, and the Worship Service. We have Sunday School classes for children, from babies through sixth grade. We also have an active Youth Ministry for students in grades 6 through 12. Children are welcome in the 10:55 worship service. During the service, we have a dedicated Children’s sermon, which is typically led by one of our staff members. We also have a nursery available for parents/children who are in need of it.
