Christian Education at First Baptist Church

First Baptist enjoys a wide array of Sunday School opportunities for all members regardless of age.  Our Sunday School Director and Minister of Youth and Education are passionate about instilling in people of all ages the tools necessary to be a faithful and educated servant in the body of Christ, which is the Church.  Below is a list of the Sunday School options available to any who wish to attend:

Children's Classes

Birth to 2, Children 2-4, Children 5/Kindergarten, Children Gr. 1 - 2, and Children Gr. 3 - 5

Youth Classes

Middle School and High School

Adult Classes

Logos Class (mixed adults), Truth Seekers Class (mixed adults), Outreach Class (mixed adults), Faithful Workers Class (women only), Fellowship Class (couples and singles), Parlor Class (mixed adults), Ruth Class (women only), Pioneer Class (men only), Dorcas Class (women only) and, Tarlton-Fisher Class (men only)

Discipleship Training Classes

During the school year, Discipleship Training classes are offered on Sunday nights at 6 PM.  These classes cover a broad spectrum of topics and subjects, but are instrumental to our Christian Education program.  Below is a sample of classes that are offered in our Discipleship Training classes:

Parenting, Decision-making, Christianity and Culture, Book Studies, Coping in times of struggle, Parables, and various books of the Bible.
